該傳感器是一體化集成式紅外測溫檢測器。光學系統與電子線路共同集成在金屬殼體內。防護套易于安裝,90°可調支架;以滿足各種野外條件下安裝和進行不間斷測量。
路面溫度傳感器內部是由一個熱電堆和一個熱敏電阻構成。所有的物體都在不停地向周圍空間發出紅外輻射能量,通過對其自身輻射的紅外能量的測量,便能準確地測定它的表面溫度,這就是非接觸紅外測溫的原理。紅外測溫儀可不接觸目標,而通過測量目標發射的紅外輻射強度計算出物體的表面溫度,這是它最大的優點。

The road surface temperature sensor consists internally of a thermopile and a thermistor. All objects continuously emit infrared radiation energy into the surrounding space. By measuring the infrared energy radiated by the object itself, its surface temperature can be accurately determined — this is the principle of non-contact infrared temperature measurement. The greatest advantage of an infrared thermometer is that it can calculate the surface temperature of an object by measuring the intensity of infrared radiation emitted by the target without making contact with it.
